The Silo

The Silo is a standing LED night lamp with an appearance inspired by the fascinating jellyfish. It was created in my free time, from a variety of left over materials and objects that I collected from my previous projects. The Silo is a result of an ambiguous and improvisational hands on design process, where the separate materials and shapes themselves influenced the way in which they would eventually come together. It was a process which consisted of lots of twisting, bending and relocating objects. These cycles of trial and error driven by artistic vision were what gave birth to this creation; A wonderful result from an explorative process !
