Gingerking

The Gingerking is a fictional character inspired by Dutch King Willem-Alexander. It was created for the purpose of celebrating his inauguration on the 30th of April, 2013. 

As a team of 4 friends, we came up with an idea to design The Gingerking t-shirt; a wearable canvas that will stimulate people to customise, wear and represent their own version of their King. The motivation behind this concept is to follow up on the tradition of bearded Dutch Kings, and letting people express their creativity by designing a beard for Gingerking. This is possible by using the materials provided in the package.
